The Spellbook & Manual Incantations
Wizards interact with raw magic by channeling Incantations, a system requiring players to manually memorize and key-in exact sequence codes hidden across the world on scrolls and lost books.
You carry a personal spellbook to record these combinations. When executing a spell, you have a tactical choice: input the button combination flawlessly from memory for a lightning-fast cast, or pull out the open book to let it auto-perform. The trade-off is severe—auto-casting forces you to remain completely stationary, taking significantly longer than manual execution.
